  4.     STadel is Copyright (C) 1988 by David L. Parsons.
  5.     All rights are reserved.

  7.     You are granted a limited license to use the STadel software
  8.     included in this archive. The software may be used or copied
  9.     only in accordance with the terms of that license, which is
  10.     described below.

  12.     David L. Parsons may make improvements and/or changes in STadel
  13.     at any time.

  15.     STadel is subject to the following license terms and conditions.

  18.               SINGLE COPY LICENSE

  20.     This is a single copy license granted by David Parsons (mailing
  21.     address: 143 Cimarron, Lake Elmo, MN 55042) STadel is licensed
  22.     to you as the end user.

  24.     STadel is copyrighted material. You may use it provided you
  25.     do not violate the copyright and if you follow these rules.
  26.  
  27.     a)  You may not make any changes or modifications to STadel,
  28.     and you may not decompile, disassemble, or otherwise reverse-
  29.     engineer it. You may not rent or lease it to others.
  30.  
  31.     b)  You may make copies of STadel only under the terms of the
  32.     section titled `LICENSE TO COPY'.
  33.  
  34.  
  35.             LIMITED WARRANTY
  36.  
  37.     David L. Parsons does not warrant that the functions contained
  38.     in the software will meet your requirements or that the
  39.     operation of the software will be uninterrupted or error free. 
  40.     The warranty does not cover any media or documentation which has
  41.     been subjected to damage or abuse by you. The software warranty
  42.     does not cover any copy of the software which has been altered
  43.     or changed in any way by you or others. David L. Parsons is not
  44.     responsible for problems caused by changes in the operating
  45.     characteristics of the computer hardware or operating system
  46.     which are made after the delivery of the software.

  48.     The warranties set forth above are in lieu of all other express
  49.     and implied warranties, whether oral, written, or implied, and
  50.     the remedies set forth above are your sole and exclusive remedies.

  53.             LIMITATION OF LIABILITIES

  55.     In no case shall David L. Parsons' liability exceed the license
  56.     fees paid for the right to use STadel or ten (10) US Dollars,
  57.     whichever is greater.

  59.     This license constitutes the entire agreement and understanding
  60.     between the parties and supersedes any prior agreement or
  61.     understanding whether oral or written, relating to the subject
  62.     of this license. This agreement may only be changed by written
  63.     agreement signed by David L. Parsons.

  66.             LICENSE TO COPY
  67.     
  68.     You may make copies of STadel under the following conditions;
  69.  
  70.     o STadel may only be copied in the two archives RUNTIME.ST
  71.       and UTILITY.ST.  These archives may be copied individually,
  72.       but you may not copy individual files from the archives.
  73.  
  74.     o RUNTIME.ST must contain the following files:
  75.         CITADEL.PRG     - The Bulletin board
  76.         CITADEL.MAN    - Manual page for Citadel/Configur
  77.         CONFIGUR.PRG    - The BBS configuration program
  78.         CTDLCNFG.SYS    - A sample BBS configuration file.
  79.         CTDLCNFG.DOC    - Another sample BBS configuration file.
  80.         INSTALL.ST    - Installation notes for the ST
  81.         LICENSE.ST    - This license.
  82.         README.CIT    - General notes for RUNTIME.ST
  83.  
  84.        o UTILITY.ST must contain the following files:
  85.         LICENSE.ST    EXPAND.PRG
  86.         LCHANGE.PRG    CLOG.PRG
  87.         COLLIDE.PRG    LOGEDIT.PRG
  88.         CKDOOR.PRG    RUNIT.PRG
  89.         POPULAR.PRG    DUMPNET.PRG
  90.         LOADNET.PRG    PCPDIAL.PRG
  91.         NETMAP.PRG    MAKEZT.PRG
  92.         SCANZT.PRG    SPOOLEDT.PRG
  93.         README.UTI    SYSOP.PRG

  95.        o You may not accept or request any fee or other form of
  96.      compensation for the copy. (*)

  98.        o You may not distribute STadel with any other product or
  99.      service without a prior written agreement signed by
  100.      David L. Parsons. (*)

  103.     * Operators of computer bulletin board systems may post STadel
  104.     for downloading without written permission as long as the above
  105.     conditions are met.  A fee may be charged for access to the BBS
  106.     as long as no specific fee is charged for access to the STadel
  107.     files.
